A tight or pulling sensation after washing often appears as water evaporates from the surface. Cleansers can also remove some surface lipids, especially when the water is hot, the wash is long, or the product is strongly foaming.
A lipidomics study can make the barrier explanation biologically plausible, but it cannot identify the cause of your individual sensation. The pattern, timing, visible changes, and products you use are still important.
